This is a reduction linocut print I did over the weekend.  It's based on a previous acrylic painting I did a couple of years ago.

Alien Landscape

Near my place of employment they are building a new Lowes department store.  With any new building there are lots of excavation.  As I'd drive by each morning seeing the snow mix with the upheaval of gravel, I had imagined an alien landscape.  I doctored these photos to make them look like an alien planet surface. I had used the genius of Chesley Bonestell for my colour palette and the rocket.
