Anthoney Ant Marker Sketches

 Here are a series of marker sketches I did for a show called Anthony Ant.  The animated series was based on a number of illustrated books by the talented Graham Philpot.  Most of these sketches were used as early design ideas or board sketches.

Gouache Study

A gouache study of Gatineau hills from the sledding hill.  The sketch is smaller than a business card.

Alien Landscape

Near my place of employment they are building a new Lowes department store.  With any new building there are lots of excavation.  As I'd drive by each morning seeing the snow mix with the upheaval of gravel, I had imagined an alien landscape.  I doctored these photos to make them look like an alien planet surface. I had used the genius of Chesley Bonestell for my colour palette and the rocket.
